Having written for children and for adults, I know that kids’ telly is very often the more demanding, imaginative and innovative. It’s usually the more rewarding too. And as a viewer I know that one great episode of a children’s show can have more impact than hours of grown-up TV. In illustration of this point, I’ve just realised I’m wearing my DangerMouse T-shirt (I am 32 years old).
