Estelle Hughes is a Director of 3Line Media Ltd, a production company and animation studio that also offers consultancy services across all areas of children’s content and has clients in broadcast, advertising, on-line and international co-production.
The company begins production in Spring on its preschool series for the BBC. Prior to this Estelle was the Controller of Children’s ITV and in her 3 years at the UK’s largest commercial broadcaster she oversaw every element of broadcast from programme commissioning and acquisitions, channel branding, on-line, scheduling and on-air presentation to the launch of the CITV channel.
Previously Estelle was Deputy Head of Acquisitions & Animation at Children’s BBC which also spanned the development and launch of the BBC’s children’s channels, and this was after a 3 year stint at the UK Disney Channel from its launch. Estelle has previously worked at BSkyB and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Showcomotion Children’s Media Conference.
